Abstract

A micropatterned object composed of La0.75Sr0.25Co0.50Mn0.50O3/Gadolinium-doped Ceria (LSCM/GDC) nanocomposite was fabricated for anode of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) via ultraviolet nanoimprint lithography (UV-NIL). The LSCM/GDC nanocomposite particles were mixed with UV-curable resin and then UV imprinted on a dense yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) substrate. The UV-NIL derived micropillars kept their structure on the YSZ substrate after the UV-curable resin was removed in the sintering process. After fabrication of the patterned SOFC anode electrode, its impedance was experimentally investigated. The ability of the developed method to fabricate micropatterned composite SOFC materials was demonstrated.
