Abstract
The Ce3+ doped Y3Al5O12 transparent nanoceramics were fabricated by the low temperature high pressure sintering. Their structural and morphology characterizations have been performed using XRD and SEM methods. The absorption and luminescence properties of Ce3+:YAG nanoceramics were investigated. They were compared to the respective optical spectra of nanopowders and single crystal.
