Abstract

Organic solar cells using titanylphthalocyanine as a hole transport layer (HTL) were fabricated and characterized. Photovoltaic properties of the solar cells with inverted structures were investigated by optical absorption and current density–voltage (J–V) characteristic. The titanylphthalocyanine was mainly used as a buffer layer instead of PEDOT:PSS, and worked as HTL protecting the active layers.
