Abstract

This Paper hands out Fabrication and characterization of aluminium metal matrix composites. The aluminium composites have progressed mainly in the field of aeronautics, defence etc. In today’s time aluminium metal matrix composites (MMC) are taken into consideration as the maximum capability fabric for structural and purposeful applications. To attain favoured bodily and mechanical residences like excessive hardness, excessive strength, and excessive tensile strength. Al is reinforced with carbon fibre in metal matrix composites. It is fabricated with different matrix and with different thickness. The Specimens for the characterization of composites are prepared as per the ASTM standard and the test conducted on the specimen includes tensile test, flexural test and micro structure.
