Abstract
To synchronize estrous cycle of the Japanese Shorthorn cows in luteal phase, cloprostenol (0.25mg/ml, PGF2α) was administered intramuscularly in a dosage of 2 or 3ml. When the estrous cycles of cows were unknown, 3ml of PGF2α is recommended, and when those were 6 to 17 days, 2ml Of PGF2α is recommended for practical estrus synchronizatio. Admnistration of 3ml of PGF2α shortened the interval to estrus after the administration.
