Abstract
Nanocrystal Dislocations Inducing dislocations is an efficient approach to generate strain effects in nanomaterials. In article number 2106973, Yanan Chen and co-workers report a non-equilibrium high-temperature thermal-shock method (HTS) to induce dislocations in nanocrystals by using liquid nitrogen. The dislocations induced by thermal and structural stress are frozen in nanoparticles. The extreme environmental HTS can introduce dislocations in Pt nanoparticles and improve hydrogen evolution reaction performance.
