Abstract

This study mainly focuses on the role of extensive reading in second language courses at Atilim University. In fact, it is the motivating nature of extensive reading that both gives the students a space to read as they like and when they like, and furnishes them with a higher self-confidence to internalize what they have read and produce an authentic product that goes hand in hand with their language skills. Thus, the aim of this study is to investigate the idea if extensive reading can be an influential factor in improving their creativity in second language skills.
