Abstract

1. 1. A case of extensive polycystic disease of the kidneys and liver is reported in a forty-four-year old housewife. 2. 2. There was no hypertension in spite of the extensive involvement of both kidneys. 3. 3. The symptoms of tetany in this case were attributed to the increase of inorganic phosphates in the blood with a concomitant development of hypocalcemia and decrease in the serum Ca P ratio.
