Abstract
A multimachine control system is investigated to enhance the stability of a local multimachine power system connected to a large-scale primary power system. The control system is designed on the basis of the modern control theory. The system is first designed in the form of state feedback. For much easier applications, a practical extension to a control system with output feedback is investigated.
