Extension Outreach in Precision Agriculture for Kentucky

Abstract

The multi-disciplinary need of precision agriculture research necessitates the development of new methods of extending information and current research findings/technology development to the public. Researchers and extension professionals at the University of Kentucky have developed a series of innovative tools that provide information to extension professionals, producers, and other precision agriculture practitioners. Emphasis is placed on two areas: 1) practical, hands-on training modules for Extension professionals and producer/practitioners, and 2) on-line tutorials and access to current research and Extension publications.
