Abstract

An extension of Kohler-Strnad model (J. Phys. Chem. 1990, 94, 7628) for the evaluation of viscosity measurements of ionic surfactants forming rod-shaped micelles of low axial ratio is proposed. The method is applied to sodium deoxycholate micelles in aqueous solution of sodium chloride, chlorate, and salicylate at different electrolyte and surfactant concentrations
