In this issue of Chem, Zhao et al. present a tailored heterogeneous catalyst in combination with parahydrogen to overcome the sensitivity challenge of water in nuclear magnetic resonance via effective hyperpolarization, paving the way for unprecedented applications in this important and versatile technique.
