Abstract

Today humanity rapidly moving into new era of mass communications, cultural processes of globalization are obvious. Nation-states boundaries are rapidly destroying, thus consolidating the universal cultural trends. So today is very important not only to survive but also to preserve own identity, own cultural values. We have to prioritize spiritual values to the material, since it is what makes humanity grow and develop as a society. Our society needs renewal. Without this, it is hardly possible to improve the system of social relations and management culture of the society and its individual institutes. So, the family is the primary social institute of socio-cultural, ethno-cultural values and traditions. The article attempts to reveal the concept of spiritual values, seeks to find out what values we miss most in our consumer society. It is trying to establish family institute links with the spirituality manifestation in our culture. The qualitative study revealed important aspects: enriching spiritual culture, it is important to develop human spiritual needs, which are the most important human aspirations and actions promoters. The sociological study revealed any missing values in our society: morality, tolerance, openness, responsibility and love. Therefore, the proposed solutions to problems: to foster the values of the family, education, culture, religion and to enhance the state attention to its citizens.
