Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical significance and expression of fascin and E-cadherin in bladder transitional cell carcinoma (BTCC). Methods Immunohistochemistry was used detect the expression of fascin and E-cadherin in 78 cases of BTCC, and the relationship between their expression and clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results There was a negative correlation between the expression of fascin and E-cadherin (r =-0. 397,P <0. 05), and their positive expression rate was 75. 6% and 48. 7% respectively. Fascin and E-cadherin were related to tumor pathological grade and clinical stage. Conclusion Fascin and E-cadherin could be used as the biological behavior markers of BTCC.
