Abstract

This paper concerns the problems of the model, exponential stability and controller design for singular networked control system (NCS) with data packet dropout. Considering the existence of time-delay and packet dropout, the model of singular NCS with two cases of dynamical output feedback control and dynamical output feedback proportion-integral (PI) control is obtained, which is an asynchronous dynamical system (ADS) constrained by event rates. Based on the theory of ADS, Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality method, the semi-negative definite matrix conditions of exponential stability and controller design method for the singular NCS are presented. Furthermore, numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the semi-negative definite matrix conditions of exponential stability and controller design method.
