Abstract

Introduction: English language learning is a multifaceted journey marked by various challenges faced by students worldwide. This study delves into the experiences of English language students to uncover the obstacles they encounter and explore potential avenues for improvement. Methodology: Employing qualitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions, this study gathers data from a diverse cohort of English language learners. Thematic analysis is utilized to identify recurring themes and patterns in the participants' experiences and perceptions. Results/Findings: The findings reveal a range of challenges encountered by English language students, including language proficiency barriers, cultural differences, and social integration issues. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of supportive learning environments and effective teaching strategies in addressing these challenges. Future Direction: Building upon these findings, future research could delve deeper into specific intervention strategies aimed at mitigating the identified challenges. Additionally, exploring the role of technology in language learning and investigating the impact of socio-cultural factors on student experiences warrant further examination.
