The study provides examples of successful educational programs and specific tasks that were implemented in the educational process and demonstrated good results in the formation of democratic values among students. Challenges that educators may face are also discussed and recommendations for overcoming them are offered. The article aims to encourage teachers to more actively use the principles of democracy in their classrooms and to show teachers that a foreign language is not only a means of communication, but also a tool for educating conscious and responsible citizens. The proposed methods and approaches can be useful for teachers of different levels of education and specialties who seek to integrate democratic values into their pedagogical practice.
