Abstract
The management of software development is a vital factor which leads to the success of the software project. The most important component involved in the project is the team members. Meta-individual values of Thai IT professionals should affect the software development management practices. In this research, we found that self-transcendence and openness to change have influence on every software development practice. However, conflicting meta-individual value is also involved. Mixed meta-individual values are required for the smooth performing and conducting software development management practices. Moreover, Thai IT professionals are influenced by national culture.
