Abstract

Social imagination is a mindset which provides the ability for children to realize the relationship between their personal experiences and the larger society in which they live their lives, which may include people's thoughts, feelings and intentions. This study aims to explore the challenges of social imagination in a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) during wordless picture book session. Through a case study approach involving a child diagnosed with ADHD, we analyze the expressions of social imagination during reading activities to gain deeper insights into social cognitive development. Findings indicate specific challenges in the social imagination of ADHD children, providing crucial cues for tailored intervention and support strategies.
