Abstract

This chapter delves into the ethical considerations surrounding the utilization of generative artificial intelligence (AI) for global knowledge sharing in higher education. As AI technologies continue to advance, their potential for transforming the educational landscape is becoming increasingly evident. However, the ethical implications of employing generative AI in this context warrant careful examination. The study explores the ethical dimensions related to the use of generative AI in higher education, focusing on issues such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, intellectual property rights, and the impact on human creativity and critical thinking. The findings of this study contribute to the ongoing discourse on the ethical implications of utilizing generative AI in higher education.
