Abstract

Salisbury University (SU) is enthusiastic to explore a partnership in international teacher education with Jeju National University. To that end, this paper presents a general description and key features of SU’s teacher education program, with emphasis on the Elementary Education program, which will serve as the initial focus of this partnership. Among the key features discussed are SU’s “Conceptual Framework”, the Regional Professional Development School network, and elements of the Professional Teacher Education Program.
