Abstract

As a new form in the information age, the Internet plus results from the deep integration of the innovation of Internet technologies and various fields of societies, while Cloud computing, big data technology, mobile Internet and Internet of Things have been widely used in education. The application of Internet technology and Internet thinking for education has made Internet and traditional education integrated tightly, which has brought both vitality and challenges to the development of education in China. With the advent of the Internet plus era, the English teaching system in vocational colleges remains in disruption of ecological balance, and the contradiction surges prominently and increasingly among teachers, students and teaching environment, by which the English teaching in vocational colleges is seriously affected. Under this circumstance, the author suggests that the English ecological classroom for vocational colleges should be constructed on the basis of educational ecology and language ecology, and that the ecological elements of teachers, students, teaching resources and teaching environment should be coordinated in order to promote the harmonious and dynamic development of English teaching in vocational colleges.
