Abstract

The MOE issued a set of Guidelines on Labor Education for Primary, Secondary and Higher Education in March, 2020. In August, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Shanghai Municipal Government also issued Implementation Opinions on it. Both guidelines provide the aim of labor education for universities and colleges. As one of the main channels, labor education will dramatically improve the morality enhancing and talents culturing for higher education. This paper lays out the value of labor education in private universities and analyzes the current problems. Based on the three dimensions of complete participation, engagement and collaboration, it aims to construct a solid, comprehensive and effective system of labor education in private universities, thus, creating a new pattern of labor education in private universities in the new era.
