Abstract
At present, the traditional English teaching mode has gradually withdrawn from the historical stage, and multimedia has been widely used in the process of distance open English teaching and achieved good results. The important feature of modern distance open education is to carry out various teaching activities under the network conditions. In college English teaching, corpora are widely used in language research and teaching, which has played an important role in improving the quality of college English teaching. The use of interactive activities in English teaching in distance and open education can bring good teaching results to English teaching, which is a brand-new model based on the law of language learning and classroom teaching rules. The traditional English teaching mode can not meet the needs of development. How to cultivate new compound talents with certain professional skills is the basic requirement of open education for English teaching. This paper discusses the feasibility of corpus in English teaching and how to apply corpus to English Teaching in distance and open education environment.
