Abstract
The issues dealt with in this paper concern preamplifier/front-end circuit and system design and integration. Much theoretical work has been published in this area, but less so on system application oriented explorations. A few of the many system issues will be addressed here, including magnetic tunneling junction (MTJ) read head integration, crosstalk reduction and characterization measurements, and head ESD/EOS mitigation.
