Abstract

Transparent conducting oxides (TCOs) have been researched for several decades thus utilizing in many technology advances especially on display area. While such an advance p-type TCO entry is still rare compared to the n-type one as hindering the next generation oxide-based electronics. This article briefly introduces materials design concepts on typical TCOs, and a new approach to realize a high-performance p-type TCO based on strong electron correlation effect.
