Abstract
The formation and development of the spirit of "two paths" have a distinct Marxist theoretical foundation, profound traditional Chinese cultural heritage, and rich practical experience in different historical periods such as road construction, road guarding, and road maintenance. It is one of the important contents of the spiritual pedigree of the CPC, an important red resource and valuable spiritual wealth of the party, and has rich connotations. One is the revolutionary heroism of loyalty to defend the country, which is not afraid of hardship and death; The second is the original aspiration and mission of caring for the people, and the excellent style of unremitting struggle, which is characterized by "tenacious struggle and willingness to be a stepping stone"; The third is the national community consciousness of "unity between the military and civilians, national unity". To inherit and promote the spirit of the "two paths" in the new era, it is necessary to take learning and understanding as the foundation, explore and construct resource carriers as the key, and establish a normalized and long-term mechanism as the support to carry forward the Party's red genes and precious revolutionary spirit. This not only benefits the continuation of the Party's red genes, but also has a more practical significance in promoting the early realization of the goals of building a strong transportation country and a socialist modernization country.
