Abstract
An optical mammographic imaging problem for multiple small breast cancers isconsidered in the frequency domain. The diffusion model approximation with anextrapolated boundary condition for the compressed breast is used. An explicitidentification scheme based on a weighted Fourier transform is introduced todetermine the multiple cancers in a layer-by-layer fashion. Numerical results arepresented.
