Abstract
Propagating the rootstock clone 'Buck' plum by stratifying fully dormant cuttings in sand beds before planting has given unsatisfactory results. Experiments, conducted over two seasons at two localities in New South Wales, have shown that better results are obtained if cuttings are taken in winter, treated with indolebutyric acid, and planted directly into the nursery row.
