Abstract
Temperature and pressure differences were measured in a thermal counter flow under superfluid (He II) turbulence associated with the quantized vortex tangle in two turbulent states, TI and TII, at a temperature range of 1.4–1.9 K, and with a capillary diameter of 100–266 μm. Analysis of data was carried out on the basis of two fluid hydrodynamics, including the eddy viscous force for the superfluid flow, in addition to the normal viscous force and the mutual friction force. The eddy viscosity coefficient and the boundary value of superfluid velocity on the wall surface were treated as parameters to fit the observed pressure differences. Finally, profiles of the local velocities of superfluid and normal fluid and the local relative velocity are given in cases of several selected parameters.
