Abstract

The present technology, composites are playing an important role in industrial application as well as human applications. Natural fibers provide better features and advantages than synthetic fibers. The naturally reinforced polymer matrix composites are familiar with the exploration of lightweight, degradable, durable materials. This paper mainly focuses on the preparation of sample specimens according to ASTM standards with help of corn powder which is collected by refining the corn tree stem part along with reinforcements by using the hand-layup method. Perform mechanical tests like tensile, compression, and Izod impact tests on prepared specimens to draw the mechanical properties and analyze the mechanical behavior of composition factors. The DoE (Design of Experiments) is to draw the input parameters, and Grey relational analysis and Principal component analysis are used for finding the weights of process parameters. By analyzing the results it is observed that the most significant parameter carried out at ABS-12%, Guar Gum-12%, and CMC-8% with values 0f compression strength is 80.48 MPa, Tensile strength is 60.45 MPa, and Izod Impact strength is 0.276 Joules.
