Abstract

The research on the seepage and heat transfer characteristics of fluid flowing through fractured rock mass is of great significance to the utilization of geothermal resources. The behaviors and characteristics of heat transfer when fluid flowing through a single fracture channel, two intersecting fractures channels, and three intersecting fractures channels were investigated and compared. Firstly, the calculation formula of convective heat transfer coefficient of water flowing through multi channels was deduced. Then the relationship between the seepage characteristic parameters and the confining pressure during the loading and unloading process was analyzed and discussed. Finally, the heat transfer mechanism of water flowing through rock sample with multi fractures was studied. This work supplements the law and theory of heat transfer when fluid flowing through fracture networks, which is of practical significance to the underground space utilization and geothermal resource exploitation.
