Abstract

Presents the results of an experiment on the usefulness of closed-circuit television for partially sighted visitors to a library in Copenhagen. A large percentage of participants who had been unable to read before the experiment found that they could read with CCTV. A significant number of all participants expressed a willingness to use CCTV in their own libraries if the equipment was made available.
