Abstract

Abstract High temperature (570–750°C) three-point impedance measurements on the system Pt/YSZ using a platinum reference electrode exhibited distortions/artifacts due to the voltage divider effect. These distortions could be avoided by using a lower impedance reference electrode (Ag) or employing an instrument with a higher input impedance. A correction procedure was also successful.
