Abstract
Experimental investigation of nonstationary combustion of stoichiometric propane-air mixture is carried out. The setup design is developed for carrying out the experimental explosions. The technique of experimental investigation is offered. The reaction vessel of the experimental setup represents pipe with one open end, internal diameter of 0.5 m and 4 meters long. Ring partitions with installation step S=0.5 m and blockage ratio BR=0.3 were placed in reaction vessel. The experimental investigation was carried out for various number of partitions and sources of ignition with various energy. The maximal flame speed almost linearly increases from 35 m/s for 1 partition up to 240 m/s for 7 partitions. The maximal flame speed increases approximately by 35 m/s at addition of one ring partition. As result of research, check of adequacy to the developed earlier computer model on the obtained experimental data is executed. The developed computer model is adequate. The developed computer model is applicable for calculation of nonstationary combustion parameters in pipes with the regular obstacles. The relative error of the flame speed calculation of does not exceed 18%.
