Abstract
Previously Costabel and Stephan proved the convergence of the collocation method for boundary integral equations on polygonal domains for piecewise linear trial functions which are constant on subintervals next to corners. The convergence and associated error estimates were given in suitable Sobolev spaces with appropriately weighted norms.
