Abstract

The process of digitizing education, automating most industries and professional fields, transferring interpersonal and professional communication to the online environment is inevitable. To facilitate and streamlining this process, it is necessary to develop both - digital competence and digital communication competence in students. This article presents the impact of the use of digital technologies, especially cloud technologies, on the development of digital communication competence in students. The formulated conclusions are supported by a pedagogical experiment conducted on a sample of 266 students from 4 universities in the Republic of Moldova. As a result of the pedagogical experiment, it was found that the use of digital technologies, especially cloud technologies, in the process of developing digital communication competence in students increases its level of ownership.
