Abstract
As the key factor restricting the transformer capacity, the temperature rise characteristic deserves to be studied . To grasp the transient temperature rise process of epoxy resin poured transformers under cold start condition, this paper carried out the temperature rise experiment of epoxy resin poured transformer under different load rates and obtained the transient temperature rise data at key positions of epoxy resin poured transformer. By analyzing the transient temperature rise process of an epoxy resin poured transformer at key positions, the transient temperature rise process was divided into three stages according to the temperature rise rate change. Based on exponential function, this paper also established a epoxy resin poured transformer transient temperature rise calculation model. In addition, the influence of load factors on the steady-state temperature rise of epoxy resin poured transformers at critical locations was analyzed and the quantitative relationship between the steady-state temperature rise and the load factor was obtained. Research results of this paper can be applied to the rapid calculation of epoxy resin poured transformer temperature rise, which is a good guide for the operation evaluation of epoxy resin poured transformers.
