Abstract

The article describes the experience of designing energy-efficient public buildings in state institutions of Ukraine in recent years, reveals typical spatial and spatial solutions and their relationship with their implemented energy efficiency technologies. It is established that today the state plays the leading role in the process of introducing energy-efficient technologies in the construction of public buildings. Since the obsolescence and inefficiency of the state real estate fund is enormous and involves the investment of significant funds, the reimbursement of which is not quick and can take decades, the implementation of the developed plans and programs is possible only with the system support and interaction of the state, specialized international organizations, domestic and foreign investors and the scientific and professional community. It was revealed that the artistic and aesthetic side of the architecture of energy-efficient public buildings has not been sufficiently developed - in most cases, design and architectural work is limited to rendering minimalistic facades and entrance groups. To preserve the urban environment, it is necessary to develop key principles for the design of such budget facilities. At the same time, they should be separated from the principles of designing energy-efficient commercial facilities of the same typology, since they have different approaches, conditions, capabilities and design goals. It is recommended for each type of public buildings that are state-owned to draw up their “Recommendations and Tips”, which will allow for the efficient and accelerated implementation of the principles of energy-efficient consumption in the construction and reconstruction of public buildings. Such methodological documents should be developed both with the participation of test practitioners of foreign experience, and taking into account local economic, social, industrial and other conditions.
