Solving the problems of the hotel and restaurant business development will enable him to compete. CONCLUSIONS Further development of the hotel and restaurant business is impossible without stimulating the development of tourism, recreation, education in the field of hotel and restaurant business, assistance to the state, establishment of information infrastructure of the hotel and restaurant market. From our point of view, the constant introduction of innovation, investment and hard competition will increase its global and regional competitiveness. In our opinion, the main directions of increasing the competitiveness of the hospitality industry are: personalization of service and customer orientation. Creation of conditions for attraction of additional investments into objects of hotel and restaurant business.. Wide introduction of new means of communication and information technologies, which allows to conduct deep and systematic diagnostics of enterprises of hotel and restaurant business and industry in general; Improving the quality of services provided and processing the standards of ISO 9000 series in order to ensure their interconnection with the competitiveness of the enterprise. Introduction of new technologies into the business strategy of hotel and restaurant business enterprises (based on the use of the Internet) in order to promote products and services of hotels and restaurants. A gradual solution to the problems of the hotel and restaurant business development will enable it to be competitive at the world level.
