Exert the advantages of comprehensive university to speed up the reform and development of medical education

Abstract

Nantong University brings into full play the advantages of the comprehensive university and actively responds to the holistic, comprehensive and diversified tendency for the development of medical education. Since Nantong University has been merged, a lot useful exploration and practice has been done such as resource integration, curriculum optimization, teaching content update, innovation capability education, medical practice teaching reform and medical humanities education in order to achieve the goal of comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of medical education. We have gained some achievements in deepening the teaching reform of medical education, in optimizing of medical disciplines'construction and in improving the quality of medical personnel training, etc. Key words: Comprehensive university; Medical education; Sustainable development
