Abstract
The γ-rays following the decay of particle-hole states in 42Ca were investigated with the reaction 41K( 3He, d γ) 42Ca. A doublet near 4.10 MeV and a triplet near 4.44 MeV were resolved in a 42Ca(p, p′ γ) 42Ca experiment.
