gtefan Bojnec is Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This paper was prepared during the author's stay at the Leuven Institute for Central and East European Studies and the Department of Agricultural Economics at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
