Abstract
AbstractLinewidth measurements are reported of the ESR spectra of metallic GdxLa1–xB6 compounds (x = 1.0 to 0.01). This system is remarkable because contributions from the exchange narrowed linewidth ΔHex and the homogeneous linewidth ΔHhom can be estimated. The interpretation of ΔHex leads to values for the “exchange fields” He as a function of the Gd concentration.
