Abstract
Abstract Earlier we noted that the electron-phonon coupling constant λ ph can be enhanced by the effect of the exchange interaction between electrons. In this paper we point out that such an exchange enhancement of λ ph can be particularly large in a metal with antiferromagnetic or SDW tendency such as the high- T c oxide superconductors. On the other hand, contrary to the currently prevailing view, we point out the possible ineffectiveness of the direct spin fluctuation effect which is destructive to the superconductivity of s-type.
