Abstract
The necessity of an integrated system for all the areas of business management is undisputed. For such solutions the SAP R/3 system has been established as a standard. In some cases, especially when complex tasks need to be solved, software with functionality that exceeds standard solutions is desired. The present article describes a Microsoft Excel user interface for the SAP R/3 system. This interface not only reads key data of SAP R/3 objects, but can also write changes to data objects back into the R/3 system, using official SAP technologies.
