Abstract
Flow measurement holds significant importance in numerous industrial processes, demanding high levels of accuracy and reliability. Among the diverse range of flowmeter designs available, the rear-supported V-Cone flowmeter stands out due to its inherent advantages such as minimal pressure drop, extensive range ability, and adaptability to various flow conditions. This paper undertakes a comprehensive examination of the performance attributes of the rear-supported V-Cone flowmeter, with a specific focus on its accuracy, repeatability, and stability across varying operational parameters. Through a combination of experimental investigations and computational simulations, we delve into the flow characteristics and performance metrics of the rear-supported V-Cone flowmeter, offering valuable insights for its practical utilization. The findings presented herein contribute to a deeper understanding of the capabilities and limitations of this flow measurement technology, thereby facilitating its effective implementation in industrial settings.
