Abstract

This comprehensive review explores the effects of local South African diets on endurance and performance enhancement in rugby athletes. Understanding the intersection of traditional dietary practices and sports performance is crucial for optimizing athletes’ capabilities, particularly in a physically demanding sport like rugby.
