Abstract

Poor oral health affects overall health and creates a financial burden for society. Education of prospective nondental providers to perform oral health prevention practices could improve early detection of oral health illnesses, making oral health care more accessible and affordable for patients. This literature review examined oral health knowledge and skills, along with oral health education among nondental providers.
