Abstract

In parallel with the developments in material science, applications on new materials have increased in recent times to meet the needs of the fast-growing industry, to have a better standard of living, and thus to increase productivity. In this paper, the hybrid fiber metal layered (FML) composites designed in 3D model it is seen that material groups that are quite different from each other in terms of material properties have a structure that brings them together. Using ANSYS Workbench Explicit Dynamics software, hybrid FML composites that can be used in various fields such as automotive, defense, and space industries were developed and impact tests were conducted and the results were analyzed. Keywords: ANSYS 21, Explicit Dynamics, metal matrix composites, impact test.
